In this session, educators will explore how manipulatives can support sensemaking in secondary mathematics and help students engage more deeply with important content. Participants will leave with practical examples for using manipulatives to expand access and support understanding in secondary math classrooms.

In this session, we will be sharing some of the high leverage strategies that have succeeded in making changes in districts around the country. We will discuss the roles of district leadership, school administrators, and teacher leaders in getting change started and making it stick.
